Elwood Chamber of Commerce

The Elwood Chamber of Commerce is the energizing and vitalizing force of the community.  It seeks to unite all industrial, commercial, and civic interests for the purpose of concerted action in supporting those activities which are broader than any single business or industry, but which promote the welfare of the entire Elwood area.

The Elwood Chamber of Commerce is a working partnership of businesses, professionals, industries, and concerned citizens who are joined together for the purpose of advancing our community.  It is an organization of people who know the wisdom of coordinating their efforts under effective leadership and who are committed to the success of our City. 

To accomplish these objectives, the Chamber works at advancing the economic, professional, cultural, and civic welfare of our city.  It encourages growth of existing industries and businesses while giving assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the area.  The Chamber is an advocate for the preservation of the free enterprise system and encourages and works with other interested groups on the improvement of the functional aesthetic values of the downtown and surrounding areas.  In short, the Chamber works for you and your interests.

SBDC Satellite Office
The Central Indiana SBDC is part of a statewide and nationwide network funded under cooperative agreement by the U.S. Small Business Administration.  The SBDC provides existing small businesses and start-ups with free one-on-one counseling, business education seminars, training sessions and workshops.  The organization also provides related resources for its business constituents in the form of referrals to lenders, accountants, attorneys, consultants and other professional experts.

Exclusive Listing in the Chamber Guide
Chamber members receive exclusive listing in our popular Business and Organization Guide.  The Guide is the only source our office refers to on calls of inquiry placed to the Chamber.  Each week, your Elwood Chamber receives calls from individuals wanting to know who to contact for specific types of businesses or organizations.  Be sure your business has the Chamber’s stamp of approval by being listed in the Business and Organization Guide!

Advertising & Referrals

Annual Awards Dinner
In January, the Chamber hosts our Annual Awards Dinner.  The community will nominate businesses and organizations based on Industry, Civic, Retail and Service divisions, and the Chamber Board of Directors present these deserving organizations with an award commemorating their achievement.  Past speakers include Ann Ryder, Billy Keller and Dick Wolfsie. 

Member Window Clings
